EBC Chola Pass Trek will reward you with unique and unforgettable moments with out of this world sight of the world's tallest and most striking Mt. Everest (8,848 m) and views of other splendid Himalayas Mt Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Pumori (7161m), Mt. Nuptse (7855m), Mt. Changaste (7550m), Mt. Amadablam (6856m), Mt. Lingterin (6679m), Mt. Thamserku (6723m) etc will reward you. And you will reach at the base of the Mt. Everest also recognized as Sagarmatha in Nepali language. From Kathmandu, we will take a scenic flight in the morning to reach Lukla (2827m) taking 40 minutes. The pathway is easy and we will go across the tiny community of Ghat (2550m). Afterward, we march to Namche traversing few bridges followed by way up around few hundred meters, a straight drop and then another steeper mount from side to side with the forest. Likewise, the path to Everest moves downward the hill; we go round here and cross the Mon La ahead of reaching Phortse Tenga moving via the rhododendron as well as birch forest festooned with hanging mosses plus lichens. Day 01: Meeting upon arrival at airport, transfer to hotel.
As you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will some formalities to accomplish then, you will shift to your hotel in approximately 20 minutes. You will have time to relax and get prepared for the trek. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing+ Trekking Preparation day.  Overnight at Hotel.
On this day, you will visit Kathmandu city to see historical and spiritual attractions which are enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage List. The places of attraction are- Kathmandu Durbar Square and Monkey Temple. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding
From Kathmandu, today we will take a scenic flight in the morning to reach Lukla (2827m) taking 40 minutes. From Lukla, we start moving downward to reach the Dudh Kosi River and walk on the trail that takes us to Namche Bazaar, positioned just higher than Chaunrikharka (2713m). The pathway is easy and we will go across the tiny community of Ghat (2550m). After that we will have a short stroll to Phakding. Overnight in Phakding.

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar
Today we will walk for around 4 hours from Phakding to reach Namche Bazaar. Leaving Phakding, we will shift climbing to Jorsale and then we will get ahead of a waterfall. Now, the path villages are amalgamated with stunning wooded area of rhododendron, giant firs as well as magnolia trees. Afterward, we march to Namche traversing few bridges followed by way up around few hundred meters, a straight drop and then another steeper mount from side to side with the forest. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 05: Stay at Namche Bazaar for acclimatization
To become familiar with the higher altitude in Namche Bazaar we will have a rest day today. Namche is a well-liked village situated in a great protected hollow. You can take the chance to see the attention-grabbing sunrise and sunset views from top of the village, where the national park headquarters is situated. The remarkable scene includes superb backdrop of the Khumbu peaks and eye-catching vistas of Everest. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 06: Trek to Dole
On this the first part of walk until Sagnasa leaving Khumjung is easy and pretty plane After we traverse Sagnasa we meet the crossroads then we go after left up track to Dole. In the spring time of year this spot will be dazzling when all flowers blossom. Overnight at lodge in Dole.

Day 07: Trek to Machhermo
We ascend slowly but surely next to the side of the ravine, where we can perceive the rhododendron tree and path making way to juniper as the loftiness rises. Fantastic views of Cho Oyu, all at once, back and sliding valley lays the pinnacle of Thamserku plus Kantega. We will have a short walk on this day and we will arrive at Machermo after 4 hours. Overnight at lodge in Machhermo.

Day 08: Trek to Gokyo Lake
Today, we will depart from Machhermo, continue trekking for observing the lakes at Gokyo flowing down the west face of the Ngozumpa Glacier. We will move ahead from the three striking lakes and beside the third lake recognized as Dudh Pokhari lays the community of Gokyo. Walking at the side of the lake, you will make out the landscape of glorious apexes of Cho Oyu and Gyachung Kang. We will today trek for around 3 hours today and overnight at Lodge.

Day 09: Climb Gokyo Ri and trek to Thangnak
We will today walk from Gokyo to Thangnak traversing Nagozumda Glacier which is icy, rocky and sandy. Thangnak actually is s very small set and there we can notice only three tea houses. Chola pass is located quite vertical up from Thangnak, but immense view of Amadablam as well as Lobuche east. During winter this pass is stopped up. Overnight at tea house in Thangnak.

Day 10: Trek to Dzong La crossing Cho La Pass
To arrive at the crest of the pass, we will trek early in the morning. We will walk on a narrow path traversing large rock lumps and on the left side we can notice the major glacier. Once the path of snowfield, the site becomes trouble-free, we quickly get to the apex of the pass falling at an altitude of 5420m where the sights include Baruntse (7220m) as well as Ama Dablam are wonderful. And being much cautious to avoid crevasses we follow the lean rocky path downward to the Nymagawa Valley. After lunch, we pass through rocky portion and come up to a small saddle that moves to the huts and tea houses. Overnight at Dzong la.

Day 11: Trek to Lobuche
We will walk along the glacier; with the beautiful views of Kala Patthar situated at 5,545m and Mt. Pumori. Then, we will walk high over the Pheriche community. Over all we will have a 4 hours walk today. Rest of the day, we may rest or simply hike around.

Day 12: Trek to Everest Base Camp and back to Gorakshep
This is another significant day. We stroll by the side of the Khumbu Glacier and reach Everest Base Camp falling at 5365 m means you will stand on the foot of the highest mountain of the world, Mt. Everest. The sight of the Khumbu Icefall from Everest Base Camp is amazing. When we get there at the moraines of Changri Nup Glacier, we will make a chain of small ascend and descend walking over a shaky track creased with cairns that ultimately takes us to the unforeseen Gorakshep (5160m). And after that, we walk towards the Everest Base Camp and return back to Gorakshep.

Day 13: Hike and Climb Kalapatthar
We have a challenging day today yet worthwhile one. In the morning we will ascend KalaPatthar (5545m). We will be rewarded by magnificent mountain scene. Mt. Everest towering directly on the front and the other giant peaks on the all direction including Nuptse, Chagatse, Pumori, Lhotse etc. come into view. We will then again make a quick drop to Gorakshep, a small community at 5180 meters after that trek down to Pheriche.

Day 14: Trek to Namche Bazaar
From Pheriche, we will make way down to Orsho to reach Pangboche village. Here we can make out the old monastery which preserves the scalp and bones of a 'Yeti', or the awful snowman. After that we will descend to Tengboche Monastery falling at an elevation of 3860 meters ahead of continuing walking back to Namche Bazaar at 3441meters. We will stay at lodge in Namche Bazaar for overnight.

Day 15: Trek to Lukla
After finishing our breakfast, go back above the main path downward to Dudh Koshi go back over to Phakding. Following the path we arrive at Lukla scaling diverse Sherpa villages traversing a suspension bridge lying higher than Thado Kosh. For around 45 minutes, we mount to carry out the entire walk and we take up flight back to Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 16: Rest day in Kathmandu
We have a rest day in Kathmandu today. We can just relax and get prepared for leaving Kathmandu the next day. Also, you can go for shopping around Kathmandu. In the evening you will have farewell dinner in Nepali Restaurant. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 17: Departure
Our airport representative will see you off. And you will move to your own destination.
