Phaplu Everest Base Camp Trek

Phaplu Everest Base Camp trek will allow you to witness Mt. Everest (8,848 m) and views of other splendid Himalayas Mt Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Pumori (7161m), Mt. Nuptse (7855m), Mt. Changaste (7550m), Mt. Amadablam (6856m), Mt. Lingterin (6679m), Mt. Thamserku (6723m) etc will reward you. And you will reach at the base of the Mt. Everest also recognized as Sagarmatha in Nepali language. Also, you can have a look at the arresting blend of Sherpa culture. Phaplu Everest Base Camp trek trail starts from Kathmandu, we will take a scenic flight in the morning to reach Lukla (2827m) taking 40 minutes. The pathway is easy and we will go across the tiny community of Ghat (2550m). Afterward, we march to Namche traversing few bridges followed by way up around few hundred meters, a straight drop and then another steeper mount from side to side with the forest. Likewise, the path to Everest moves downward the hill; we go round here and cross the Mon La ahead of reaching Phortse Tenga moving via the rhododendron as well as birch forest festooned with hanging mosses plus lichens. We will walk all the way through the green valleys, pasture lands, forests of rhododendron, lush vegetations, and ornate slopes. We will also see many ancient monasteries, prayer flags and chortens while passing via Sherpa villages. You can also see sheep and yak in grazing meadows on the way to Everest Base Camp from Phaplu.

Phaplu Everest Base Camp has easy trekking path. Day 01: Meeting upon arrival at airport, transfer to hotel.
As you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will some formalities to accomplish then, you will shift to your hotel in approximately 20 minutes. You will have time to relax and get prepared for the trek. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Kathmandu sightseeing, overnight at Hotel.
On this day, you will visit Kathmandu city to see historical and spiritual attractions which are enlisted in UNESCO World Heritage List. The places of attraction are- Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square and Bhaktapur Durbar Square where you will be captivated by attractive art and architectures of different temples and holy shrines. You will also visit Boudhanath, the largest stupas in Nepal; Swayambhunath located at the top of the hill also popular as the Monkey Temple; and Pashupatinath, holiest Hindu temple. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 03: Fly Kathmandu to Phaplu then trek to Ringmu (2500m)
We fly for 35 minutes with amazing views of Himalayan giants and terraced hills and reach at the village of Phaplu, a small landing field in Solukhumbu. Then we will start trek from Phaplu. We will see excellent sight of Sherpa city and Numbur, Khatang as well as Kerolung. We will walk passing Chiwang and then Phera through a rhododendron and pine forest. We will stay overnight at teahouse in Ringmu.

Day 04: Ringmu trek to Nunthala (2200m)
On this day, we will gently climb for around one and half hour to reach Takshindo La Pass (3100m.).Here we will get to see first view of Kantega (6780m), Thamserku (6623m), Kusum Kangaru (6370m), Mera Peak (6650m) etc. We will then steeply move down to the town of Nunthala (2200m.). We will stay overnight at teahouse.

Day 05: Nunthala trek to Bupsa (2360m)
Today we will trek from Nunthala the move down to the Dudh Kosi River and traverse this river via suspension bridge and climb out of the river gorge through fields of wheat, barley, and corn to the expansive Rai community of Jubing (1680m). We keep on climbing up an edge to a Sherpa community, Khari Khola (2010m). After crossing Khari Khola, we will ascend to Bupsa (2360m). Overnight at teahouse

Day 06: Trek Phakding (2604m.)
Walk on the trail that takes us to Namche Bazaar, positioned just higher than Chaunrikharka (2713m). The pathway is easy and we will go across the tiny community of Ghat (2550m). After that we will have a short stroll to Phakding. Overnight in Phakding.

Day 07: Trek to Namche Bazaar
Today we will walk for around 4 hours from Phakding to reach Namche Bazaar. Leaving Phakding, we will shift climbing to Jorsale and then we will get ahead of a waterfall. Now, the path villages are amalgamated with stunning wooded area of rhododendron, giant firs as well as magnolia trees. Afterward, we march to Namche traversing few bridges followed by way up around few hundred meters, a straight drop and then another steeper mount from side to side with the forest. Overnight at Lodge.

Day 08: Free day at Namche
To become familiar with the higher altitude in Namche Bazaar we will have a rest day today. Namche is a well-liked village situated in a great protected hollow. You can take the chance to see the attention-grabbing sunrise and sunset views from top of the village, where the national park headquarters is situated. The remarkable scene includes superb backdrop of the Khumbu peaks and eye-catching vistas of Everest. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 09: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3867m)
Today we will climb up to the Chour site at Namche Bazaar then carry on walking to Kyangjuma 3550m. Here we will be captivated by the views of view of Mt. Everest (8848), Lhotse shar (8382m), Lhotse (8516m), Nuptse (7879m), Ama dablam (6856m), Kangtega (6783m), Thamserku (6623m), Kusum kangaru (6367) and more. After that we will pass through rhododendron woods to Sanasa.  The trail then moves down through pine woodland to Lausasa. Likewise, we will ascend through Rhododendron and blue pine forest to reach Tengboche Monastery at 3867m. Overnight at teahouse.

Day 10: Tengboche trek to Dingboche (4410m)
From Tengboche, we will pass Debouche (3820m) via a forest of birches, conifers, juniper, and rhododendrons.  We will then move ahead to Imja khola passing a lot of mani after that the path passes some superbly imprinted mani stones to Pangboche (3930m). We will ascend to Somare (4010m) after that level stroll to Orsho (4190m). We will gradually go up to Dingboche (4410m). We can spot superb views of Mt. Everest (8848), Lhotse shar (8382m), Lhotse (8516m), Nuptse (7879m), Ama dablam (6856m), Kangtega (6783m), Kusum kangaru (6367), Thamserku (6623m) and many more. Overnight at teahouse.

Day 11: Dingboche trek to Lobuche (4910m)

Day 12: Trek to Lobuche
We will walk along the glacier; with the beautiful views of Kala Patthar situated at 5,545m and Mt. Pumori. Then, we will walk high over the Pheriche community. We will walk along the cross moraine of the Khumbu Glacier after that you will get to Dughla (4620m) and continuously trek on a rocky steep uphill to reach Dughla Pass (4830m). Over all we will have a 4 hours walk today. Rest of the day, we may rest or simply hike around.

Day 13: Trek to Everest Base Camp and back to Gorakshep
This is another significant day. We stroll by the side of the Khumbu Glacier and reach Everest Base Camp falling at 5365 m means you will stand on the foot of the highest mountain of the world, Mt. Everest. The sight of the Khumbu Icefall from Everest Base Camp is amazing. When we get there at the moraines of Changri Nup Glacier, we will make a chain of small ascend and descend walking over a shaky track creased with cairns that ultimately takes us to the unforeseen Gorak Shep (5160m). And after that, we walk towards the Everest Base Camp and return back to Gorak Shep.

Day 14: Climb Kalapatthar
We have a challenging day today yet worthwhile one. In the morning we will ascend KalaPatthar (5545m). We will be rewarded by magnificent mountain scene. Mt. Everest towering directly on the front and the other giant peaks on the all direction including Nuptse, Chagatse, Pumori, Lhotse etc. come into view. We will then again make a quick drop to Gorak Shep, a small community at 5180 meters after that trek down to Pheriche.

Day 15: Trek to Namche Bazaar
From Pheriche, we will make way down to Orsho to reach Pangboche village. Here we can make out the old monastery which preserves the scalp and bones of a 'Yeti', or the awful snowman. After that we will descend to Tengboche Monastery falling at an elevation of 3860 meters ahead of continuing walking back to Namche Bazaar at 3441meters. We will stay at lodge in Namche Bazaar for overnight.

Day 16: Trek to Lukla
After finishing our breakfast, go back above the main path downward to Dudh Koshi go back over to Phakding. Following the path we arrive at Lukla scaling diverse Sherpa villages traversing a suspension bridge lying higher than Thado Kosh. For around 45 minutes, we mount to carry out the entire walk and we take up flight back to Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 17: Rest day in Kathmandu
We have a rest day in Kathmandu today. We can just relax and get prepared for leaving Kathmandu the next day. Also, you can go for shopping around Kathmandu. In the evening you will have farewell dinner in Nepali Restaurant. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 18: Departure
Our airport representative will see you off. And you will move to your own destination.
